Welcome to the North Shore Heritage Preservation Society. The society was created in June 2005 to promote the restoration and preservation of heritage and character buildings in North and West Vancouver, by raising community awareness through events and publications.

Through its website and email forum, North Shore Heritage promotes the exchange of information on events, renovations, research and other heritage issues.

For information on supporting the society, please click here. Membership dues support education and awareness.

The North Shore's Top 10 Endangered Heritage Sites lists the most significant heritage resources threatened by development. Click here to download the report, or here to view the web version.

The North Shore Heritage Email Forum allows the exchange of information among registered users interested in heritage preservation. It's free for society members and non-members. For more information, please click here.

A directory of Contractors and Suppliers that have worked on North Shore heritage home renovation projects is available through the email forum.

An online report Heritage Watch, which monitors buildings threatened by demolition or development, is available in the Reports section. The House History Research Guide, a report on financial incentives and other publications are there, too.
