I write two columns a week in my local weeklies. Policing issues are a priority of mine and as such, I have written numerous articles on policing over the 25 years I have served as a Councillor. Further, I have sponsored many community policing events.

I am also a member of MAG, Manotick Action Group, which is comprised of youth, police, business, residents. This group looks at vandalism, local crime prevention, etc. We meet monthly.
